Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The shoe last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the height of the last increases toward the instep and plateaus at the top. Below the top there is a thought-hole 9/32" in diameter filled with a plaster-like substance. From the top the heel curve extends 2 1/2" to the seat. The seat's sides are curved forming the waist and widening from there to the joint and tapering to the toe. The toe has a blue discoloration. The seat is covered with small nail holes which follow the last's outline.
