Description

Wood block cut in the shape of a shoe. The last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the last height increases toward the instep and then it plateaus. Above/at the instep there is a small, off-center, hole. Below the top there is a through-hole 1/4" in diameter. The back part of the last has remnants of black paint. From the top, the heel curve extends 2 7/16" to the seat. The seat's sides curve at the waist and then widen to the joint before tapering to the toe. The seat has numerous nail holes most of which are concentrated along the outline of the seat's sides.
