Description
This carte-de-visit was produced by photographer Willis Gaylord Clark Kimball of Concord, NH. Elder Frederick Evans visited the Canterbury Shaker Village in 1878 in the company of Emil Bretzner and again with a larger group from Mount Lebanon in September, 1888. Either of these two visits would have afforded Elder Frederick the opportunity to have his portrait taken by Kimball.
