Clough, Henry Terry (1862-1923)
Description

The photograph shows the Church Family Dwelling. The new Dwelling House was built in 1875-1877 to replace the wood frame dwelling (known as the Great House) that burned at the hands of an arsonist and disgruntled ex-Shaker, David Harris, in 1875. The title is taken from the back of this card where it appears in Clough's handwriting. The card also bears Clough's distinctive monogram.
