Description

Taken in the Church Family Dwelling, Mt. Lebanon, N.Y., in September 1903 (according to the calendar on the wall). The image shows three Sisters is contemporary dress and hairstyles. On back in script, "No. 9". The Sisters are, from left to right: Carrie Alice Wade (1872-left 1909). Wade married Hugh Gallagher, a hired man, and both retained a relationship with the Shakers. Suzie Bowman (1889-left 1907); and Lucy Catherine Wells (1881-left 1906).
