Description

This view is part of a series that Will S. Potter did along the walk that passes the Second Family's Sisters' Workshop and the family Dwelling House (the frame building just barely in one the right in the photograph). They all appear to have been done on the same day and often involve the same group of young sisters and Sister Lillian Barlow (shown here standing on the left of the group of young sisters.) The two hammocks seen here seems to be unique in photographs of Shaker villages.
