This view looking south from the road near the Second Family captures some of the buildings of the South Family. From left to right is the Wash House/Sisters' Workshop (1851), the Infirmary(?), the Dwelling (1832), and across the road, the Horse Barn as it was built with its flat roof and its stylish belvedere (or cupola) and vane.
