[Brethren's Workshop, Second Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
When the Shakers sold the Second Family property to Avery and Mary Chess Robinson, the new owners converted the Stone Brethren's Workshop into a residence and removed the Second Family Dwelling to create an expansive front yard and garden. The Workshop continues to be occupied as a residence (as of 2017). The small building to the right of the Workshop was also torn down and replaced by a small caretaker's cottage.
