This postcard is inscribed on the back: "Ministers Dwelling, Lawn and Flower Garden, With Children Playing Coochet (i.e., Croquet)]," however, it is not clear that the young girls are in fact playing croquet and may just be helping with the gardening. A portion of the Canterbury Meetinghouse is shown on the right side of the card. This postcard, without the photographer being identified, was published by the Canterbury Shakers, East Canterbury, NH.
