Description

This view is part of a series that Will S. Potter did along the walk that passes the Second Family's Sisters' Workshop and the family Dwelling House (just barely visible on the right side of the photograph). They all appear to have been done on the same day and often involve the same group of young sisters and Sister Lillian Barlow. In this view, Sister Lillian is coming up the walk to join the young sisters. It is unusual to see hammocks in photographs of Shaker villages.
