The photograph of a stairhall and stairway in the North Family Dwelling includes part of an "L-shaped" rug that protects the floor at the bottom of the stair as well a part of the hall leading to the next stairway. Two of these rugs are held in the collection of the Shaker Museum|Mount Lebanon.
