Description

Cupboard with a single door. Ends, top, two shelves, and three-board back of basswood, bottom of maple, two front stiles of pine, door frame of butternut with pine panel and three between-centers turned knobs of beech at top of proper left end. Door mortised and tenoned and double pinned with rails full width and stiles tenoned into rails rather than vice versa. Door has iron butt hinges, lead insert from a ceramic knob is screwed to door and is held closed with a cherry turn button. Cupboard has a yellow wash.
