Description
Steam-bent box band and handle, white pine bottom header, swallowtails secured with copper tacks, bottom held in place by steel wire brads, swing handle pivots on a copper trunk rivet with copper burrs as spacers. Lining was blue satin with a printed rose bud pattern in red and green. Blue has faded to white. Fittings include a tomato pincushion and strawberry emery covered with same material, a wax cake, and a white felt needle case. All accoutrements secured with blue satin ribbon, faded to off-white.
