Binding set with attached turned-wood handle. Brass ferrule reinforces connection. The brass ferrule has 3 incised lines. One 1/16" from its base and a pair 2/16" from the top. Where the base of the ferrule meets the wooden handle is not uniform and curves inward in places. The ferrule has hammer marks around the top.
