Description

Closing awl set into a turned wooden handle at an angle, with the joint reinforced by a brass ferrule. The awl is slender with an oval cross-section, curves, and tapers to a point. The handle has a rounded conical shape with a neck stemming from the widest part and into the rounded disc-like base.
