Rectangular truncated pyramid shaped box of white pine with a 3/8" thick base 1/8" larger than the block to which it is attached with cut nails. Two 3/4" diameter holes are drilled blind into the bottom that angle inward. The exterior would be covered with woven poplar splint "fabric" and the interior with satin or similar cloth.
