Description
Oval box (a) with lid (b) and swing handle. Box and lid bands of steam-bent maple. Swallowtails secured with copper tacks while headers are held by larger copper tacks. Handle swings on copper trunk rivets and burrs. Box is lined with pink satin and fitted with a "tomatoes" pincushion, a pink satin strawberry emery with a pink velvet cap, and a wax cake - all held by pink satin ribbons.
