Description

Gauge with maple stem and a sliding dovetail slot into which is set a fixed ivory block with a single spur and a sliding ivory block with a single spur allowing adjustment of distance between the two spurs. An oval shaped, moveable maple fence surrounds the stem with a maple thumbscrew tapped into fence to lock the fence at the desired position. Wear plate set into fence under thumbscrew of horn.
