Hanging cupboard with red wash finish, Church Family, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Cupboard of pine, butt joined and nailed. Replacement or added door hinged with surface mounted replacement brass butt hinges. Wooden door knob (maple?) and pine turn button secured by a nail. Painted and then stripped at some point in time to original red wash on inside and outside except door. Brass hook on proper left side. Top of back appears to have been sawn off - probably originally a semi-circle.
