Description

Birch turnings and slats with tape seat. Leather pads screwed onto rear feet. Tape is taupe striped/black, woven together in checkerboard pattern.

Notes

Initially attributed to Watervliet, but scholar Edward Andrews attributed it to Hancock or Mount Lebanon, c. 1840.
