Description

Chip carrier consisting of an open rectangular box with sides and ends of birch, a pine bottom, and a steam-bent hickory handle. Ends are nicely dovetailed to sides and joinery is reinforced by three tin-plated sheet metal brackets around each corner. Bottom is set in flush with bottom edges of sides and ends and nailed in place. Hickory handle extends to inside bottom and is secured to sides by three rivets on each side.
