Strainer of sheet metal. Conical-shaped container with perforated, domed bottom set into a cylindrical foot. Conical capped handle with hanging ring soldered to back. Strap loop to hook over bowl or pan rim soldered to front. Top and bottom rims wire rolled. Strainer joints crimped and soldered.
The strainer was purchased by the donor from Edgar Crete, a caretaker at the Hancock Shaker community.
