Wood chest of pine, lid has molded bread-board ends of maple. Front and back ends rabbeted and chest ends are nailed into rabbets. Lid hinged with two iron butt hinges. Bottom nailed onto four sides. Outside and inside of chest have a pumpkin colored wash applied. Inside of chest is covered with paper.
