Miniature claw hammer with cast iron (?) head, parts of which were plated (copper?), and a turned beech handle which is fit into the round eye (blind) and secured by a round head wood screw which is screwed into the handle and in the eye. Someone carved a groove into the handle near the end, perhaps for a hanging string.
