Pincushion with poplarware base, Canterbury, NH
Description
A "basket pincushion" in gray/blue velvet divided into eight sections with a lighter-colored blue thread that rests in 1" high woven poplar base. The base is edged at both top and bottom with white kid leather (skiver). The base has one decorative pale lavender bow. The exterior of the base is heavy paper with a painted pink, brow, and green floral design and an embossed silver floral design overlay.
