Description
Brown wool twill, handwoven. Lining is green glazed cotton. Typical Shaker style, hook and eye closure at neck (hook missing), shoulder cape, pleated hood, and two ribbon ties made from twill tape rather than the later silk ties. Hood unlined. One large interior pocket made from handwoven blue wool. Brown velvet at neck, cloth hanging loop is split.
