Description

Chestnut form (a) with sheet copper ring at one end to hold top of chair post. Form edge is curved (and coved) to match desired bend in back post and when back post is inserted and bent to form shape by hand, a leather ring (b) is slipped over bottom end of post and bending form to hold post while it cools and dries.
