Forged iron chain and pin consisting of a pin with an eye attached to an elongated link with a ring. Also captured on this elongated link is another ring. The elongated link is connected to a less elongated link connected to a ring which also connects to a link in a 12-link section of chain. The 12th link connects to an eight-link chain with smaller but heavier links which connects to a seven-link lighter diameter chain.
