Description

Plaster bust of human head. Skull, forehead, and left eye socket divided into irregular sections indicated by carved lines, the larger sections bearing Roman numerals and the smaller lettered A-E and numbered 1-37. Paper label attached to flat section on back, "Names and Groups of Organs," that gives key to the sections and has "Fowler and Wells, Phrenologists and Publishers / 753 Broadway, New York" at bottom. "Phrenology" carved into flat section on front.
