Section of peg rail, originally with seven pegs. Rail is white pine, 3/4" x 2 15/16" cross-section, with one end tapered, and other end has projection. Pegs (two original) are birch with 1/2" diameter tenons. A replacement peg with threaded tenon (also birch) has been jammed into hole at one end. Rail edges rounded over. Rail painted red. Pegs are natural.
