Maple rims with two swallow-tails on the box band (a), and one on the lid (b) rim, all pointing to the left. Rims secured with copper tacks. White pine headers secured to the rims with iron nails or points. Painted a dark olive green over red on the exterior. Interior unpainted but dark, possibly stained.
