Dustpan of tin-plated sheet metal bent and folded to shape and held by the wire-rolled rim. A conical, closed handle is soldered to back of pan. This joint has partially failed and a crude repair effected by riveting a strap from underside of handle to underside of pan and riveting a further strip (brass) across inside back.
