Description
A paddle-shaped piece of birch with a sheet metal cowl screwed to its edges that extends from a front corner along side, around back over handle and along other side. Curved nail-like spindles are inserted upwards through the front edge of the paddle (eleven; one is missing). A further spindle is screwed to each side at the front corner with two tabs along the front of the tin cowl bent around each side spindle. These tabs are soldered to the cowl sides.
