Tin-plated sheet metal scoop-shaped balance pan. Back crimped and soldered onto scoop; all exposed edges wire rolled. Pan originally hung on balance with three strings or cords that were attached to hooks in the pan. One at the top center of the back and two others at the tops of either side of the scoop.
