Small wood handled strainer of stamped tin-plated sheet metal, joint overlapped and soldered with crimped in perforated bottom. An open cone is surface soldered over overlap join into which is inserted, the tapered tenon of a turned wood handle, held in place by an iron tack. Handle is painted black.
The strainer was purchased by the donor from Edgar Crete, a caretaker at the Hancock Shaker community.
