Artifact remnant consisting of a 3/16" square cross section shaft with a tapered square tang at one end. Other end is broken off. Below tang end, there is a solid ring which holds a semicircular cross section segment of wood (very soft, possibly willow or aspen) on a layer of four pieces of paper or thin paperboard. At other end, a split ring holds a segment of this wood and paper sandwich as well.
