Description

Section of peg rail (eight pegs) with large pegs for hanging tack. Rail is 3/4" x 3 1/16" in cross section has beaded arrises, and is probably of hard pine - red or Scots (Pinus resinosa or P. sylvestris). Pegs are of two lengths alternating 1 1/2" diameter x 6" and 1 1/4" diameter x 5", turned from maple. Pegs have threaded tenons. Rail washed yellow, pegs washed red.
