Steam-bent maple band with two swallow tails secured with copper tacks. White pine bottom header held in by copper shoe pegs. No lid but shadow line along top rim of box indicates that it originally had a lid. Originally painted salmon on exterior and probably varnished over. In size, it falls between a #8 and #9 in the 11-box series.
