Description
Two drawer blanket box with lid, front, ends, drawer rail and foot facing of pine; box bottom and case bottom of spruce; drawer guides of butternut; and five board back (running horizontally) with top board of butternut, rest of spruce. Iron hinges (replacement) and lock, bone escutcheon. Bottom drawer has pine front, butternut ends and bottom, spruce back and glue blocks. Top drawer has pine front, spruce ends, back, and 2/3 of bottom. Remainder of bottom is butternut. Drawers each have two face-turned walnut knobs with threaded tenons. Exterior painted red.
