Between-centers turned white pine kitten-head basket mold (a). Top carved to a square and the top face heavily relieved. 3/4" hole drilled through the mold center. Between-centers turned maple handle (b) has a 2 3/4" long cylindrical section near the center of the handle, tapering to either end.
