Hand-sewn linen pants, Mount Lebanon, NY
ca. 1820-1840
Description
Hand-sewn linen pants. Two suspender buttons on back and two on front. One button on fly and two buttons on "button flap" front. All buttons appear to be reproductions. Two pockets on side seams. Bottom of pant legs lined with an approx. 3 7/8" wide strip of fabric to prevent wear of pant leg. Fabric is plain weave linen in natural and light brown stripe.
