Description

Turned hard pine mold with straight sides that round slightly to the top. Round, slightly concave top, 1 9/16" in diameter. Bottom raised 7/16" cut in, then flares to a diameter of 1 9/16" with a central hole measuring 5/8" in diameter, and 1 1/8" deep. Covered with pin holes. Three nails used to repair a split.

Notes

Used to weave "furnishing" baskets, a component of a fancy sewing box made for sale.
