Oval basket with lid made of reed. Uprights are round dowels measuring 1/4" wide and the weavers are 1/8" wide. The oval lid is divided into two lids made of undulating reed with edges that are lightly wound with lashing. The overhead, bonnet-shaped handle is made of four round dowels, partially lashed. The handle measures 1 1/2" wide and rises 7 1/4" above rim.
