Description

Dress (a), bertha (b). Dress fabric is a shot cloth mixing rust brown and off-white, forming a bronze color cloth. Cloth has a sheen, may be a wool and silk (?) blend. Apron front, single drop with snap to close, four piece bodice, no closures and lined with brown cotton. Three-piece sleeve. Attached cuff. Two fabric covered buttons at cuff and four on bertha. Buttons covered with a maroon twill fabric. Outer pocket also lined with brown cotton. A 5" wide piece of glazed cotton applied to inside of bottom hem. 2" maroon fringe trim hand-sewn to bottom of bertha.
