Description

Leatherworking tool of unknown use. The tool has a turned wooden handle with a flat butt. Set into the handle is a small rectangular prism. The end of the prism which meets the handle has all four of its sides shaved down to create a joint. The longer sides of the iron are also shaved giving the iron a hexagonal form. Continuing away from the handle the iron is shaved round before returning to its rectangular form. At this end of the iron each side has a half-spherical shape 7/32" diameter carved out. At the center of each sphere there is small circular indentation.
