Description
The metal blade is diamond in cross-section and tapers from the base to form a point. The awl is set into a turned wood handle, reinforced by a brass ferrule. The handle has three scribe lines: a single scribe line just below the ferrule and a set of two at the widest point of the handle. The butt of the handle has a small discolored circle at its center with a hole in the middle.
