Description

Rack of fine-grained wood but painted too heavily to identify; with chestnut feet. End standards tapered from bottom to top and edges have astragal shape. Five crossbars are square and are oriented with an arris at the top. Round tenons on ends are mortised through standards. Feet have curved tops and are slightly arched on underside. The standards are tenoned through the feet. The entire rack is thickly painted red.
