Description

Plank-seat Windsor chair with a white pine seat, turned maple back posts, three turned birch back spindles, and a steam-bent birch crest rail. The undercarriage consists of four turned birch legs and four turned birch stretchers, one on each side, front and back. Legs taper at the top and bottom. Natural finish. "14" stenciled in black on the back of the crest rail. "Elder Arthur Bruce" in pencil on underside of seat.
