Three-gallon stoneware crock and lid with a salt glaze. The outside of the crock is a glossy tan and the inside is coated in a warm brown (possibly Albany) slip. The crock features a cobalt slip painted floral motif. What appear to be throwing lines run up the crock to a groove that runs around near the top. The knob, top of the lid, and inner ring of the lid are a glossy tan. The rest of the inside of the lid is naked; a satin brown. The top of the lid features a relief of grapes.
