Photographic portrait of an unidentified Shaker sister under glass and set into a heavy, ornate oak frame. The photograph is matted with a molded, fabric covered wood frame. The exterior frame consists of an embossed, gilded inner frame surrounded by a section of natural oak outside of which there is a pierced and heavily embossed outer frame stained or painted a walnut color.
